My name is Ray Kowalski. I am the President of Arbor Lakes homeowners association. I bought my home in 2009, but did not live here in Arbor Lakes until 2021 when I retired from my 35-year career as a UPS driver.
I'm originally from northern Wisconsin. Both myself and my fiance Della enjoy the year round warmer temperatures. We appreciate living in a community setting. We enjoy being able to see and do activities with our neighbors. Many days it's almost like being on vacation!
Della and I have many hobbies from swimming, kayaking, biking and most important pickleball. These are our main activities, but we also always look forward to discovering Florida with two or three day Adventures. We like working around the house, making our house a home with outside yard work and small projects inside.
My vision for Arbor Lakes and my position is President is being able to participate on a board that engages with our community with transparency, while also realizing a fiduciary responsibility.

My wife, Pam, and I moved to Arbor Lakes 10 years ago and enjoy living here very much.
I am the youngest of six children, all born in the 1950s. I have two daughters, a stepson and a stepdaughter, and five grandchildren. I grew up in western Massachusetts, where I raised my children.
I graduated from Westfield State College with a BS in Business with a major in finance and a minor in accounting.

I have volunteered to serve as the Secretary of Arbor Lakes HOA here in Hernando, FL. Originally from Kankakee in cold Illinois, my husband Larry of 59 years and I are parents of 2 daughters with 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. My BA in Art led me to the classroom where I spent 40+ years mentoring students to enjoy middle school Math in both public and private sectors. Vacations to Florida were always on our summer schedule and eventually our retirement destination in 2014. We found Arbor Lakes to be a gem in the rough, financially sound, with a community of pleasant people with displaying exceptional camaraderie. In the position of secretary I will be responsible to post a notice on the clubhouse bulletin board of HOA meetings and record the minutes of each in a timely manner. Most importantly, the secretary is responsible to prepare and distribute the Welcome Packet of information to all new residents.

My husband and I moved to Florida from Connecticut 6 years ago and a year ago into Arbor Lakes. This area has been on our radar for 6 years and are happy to call it home now! Besides how friendly and supportive everyone seems, we love the lake and access to it with the boat ramp/dock and fishing pier. We enjoy taking daily walks with our dogs down to the lake and for them to enjoy “social hour” with their friends. We both love the water and kayak fishing, are season ticket holders for the BUCS, spring training for the Yankees, gardening, travel to new spots, and getting more involved with our beautiful community! The community gathering spot is wonderful and the outpouring of volunteers that make it so is impressive! My husband Michael and I are excited to contribute our efforts to have an impact on our community and we are looking forward to meeting all our neighbors!! Ciao!

Linda has lived in Arbor Lakes for 13 years. She moved from Massapequa Park NY in August 2011, following her parents to Arbor Lakes. She spent 40+ years in the Insurance Industry before finally retiring in December 2021. Linda has a son in Montana and a daughter in upstate New York. Two granddaughters-- 1 each in New York and Montana. Her hobbies include reading and Yoga.
Linda decided to give back to our community and joined the Board of Directors in January 2022. Trying to keep the Clubhouse operating smoothly with all the activities that go on under its roof. It takes many people to keep this community running. Everyone can contribute in whatever capacity they may be able to - to keep this community as great as it is.

I am from Michigan. I went to Henry Ford college, and worked for Chrysler and GM for 38 years as an industrial pipe-fitter.
Married 47 years to Susan. We have two children, two granddaughters and one great-daughter. Moved to Ft Myers Beach lived there for 20 years, before moving to Arbor Lakes in 2020.
We enjoy bike riding, boating, and vacations.
I like helping with events, and Arbor Lakes projects.
